Mrs. Werner’s background includes many years of program development and implementation work during her tenure in higher education and in executive leadership. Mrs. Werner is a skilled and highly-effective leader, trainer, facilitator, and administrator.
Ms. Werner started her career in the financial services industry in the mid-2000’s, and has been successful in assisting individuals, families, and business owners to understand and develop a financial plan that includes a solid base of insurance products. Ms. Werner’s passion for learning and education resonates throughout her many interactions with clients.
Presently she actively works in the financial services industry providing worksite/employee benefits and presenting business and financial principles in small group settings. She has three other projects in embryonic stages, including The Destiny Academy of Learning, and two online businesses in the recreation and beauty industries.
Her expertise has been utilized in the financial services industry; in the health care system; in community colleges and universities; the Washington State supreme court; church settings; the k-12 school system; and within small and mid-sized nonprofit organizations. Mrs. Werner’s work in the for-profit arena includes being a licensed insurance agent, small business consultant, corporate communications director, and training director. She has also been instrumental in launching and leading several small and medium-sized non-profit organizations.
Mrs. Werner provided direct support to small business owners for several years while working for a management consulting firm.
Mrs. Werner earned a BA Degree in Urban Studies and Leadership, an MA in Applied Behavioral Science, a certificate in management. She is also a certified diabetes educator.
