Feed the Children (FTC) is a School Meal program designed to provide healthy nourishment for students during the 7-hour school day. Without this valuable resource, students are forced to walk miles to their homes just to eat, only to walk miles back to school. This negatively impacts the children’s ability and opportunity to learn. Through the FTC meal program, students and teachers receive breakfast and lunch. These meals are also extremely helpful to the parents and guardian families because they can focus the limited resources on providing meals, shelter, and clothing for their own families.
